Online Support Group for Parental Loss

No matter your age, or how close you were, losing a parent can have a profound impact on your life. For some, parents serve as a lifeline. They can represent support, love, encouragement, nurturing, guidance, and so much more.

So when a parent dies, it can feel like losing everything you’ve ever known in this world. Whether it’s been a few weeks or a few years since your loss, your grief may still be painful. This is why it’s more important than ever to connect with others who know exactly how you’re feeling.

Guided by a licensed mental health professional, this virtual group is an opportunity to work through the grief and healing from your loss—outside of your more immediate social and familial circles; in a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment.

In this small group setting, you will be able to give and receive support from others by sharing your collective experiences. It can be a great way to connect with others who understand how it feels to experience the grief of losing a parent, with the goal of helping you learn new ways of coping with your grief and healing from the loss.
